About Us

The mission of InfrastructureDC is to accelerate public infrastructure investment in the Washington, DC area.  InfrastructureDC advances efforts to direct public and private financing to transformational projects that improve the lives of District residents, workers and visitors.  The organization was established in 2015 by the Federal County Council, a nonpartisan organization made up of many of Washington, DC’s most prominent businesses, educational and philanthropic leaders.  InfrastructureDC is classified by the Internal Revenue Services as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
